Install Guide:

If you install from the CD-ROM: insert your CD-ROM ,double click on the CD-Rom icon in "my computer", double click on disk1, double click on install.exe or 
setup.exe. The initial password is "Manager" (not "manager").
Read below about the 2000 BUG. 

If you install from INTERNET: 
-Create a new folder on your system: double click on "my computer" in the left upper corner, double click on "c:\", 
from the menu select "new" and then "folder". A folder called "New Folder" is now at the bottom of the list. To 
rename the folder slowly double click on the text "New Folder". Enter any name you like (for example "mydir" or "tucsoftInstall"). 
-Download the five files (disk1.exe, disk2.exe...) in the new folder (for example c:\myDir) (or in c:\temp). 
-Double click on the file setup.exe and follow instructions. We suggest you to use the path proposed by the setup 
program (c:\program files\tucsoft). 
-To start Hotel Manager press windows button "start" and choose the item "Hotel Manager". Read the manual for 
further instruction.

Icon on the desktop:

copy the file c:\program files\tucsoft\hotel manager\hotel manager\hotel manager.lnk " 
and paste it on the desktop.


RE-INSTALL IMPORTANT: if you re-install Hotel Manager and want to preserve data, rename the directory "TucSoft" to TucSoftOld
, install Hotel Manager as the first time, copy the folders "data" and "control" that are in "tucSoftOld" and paste then in
"TucSoft" which will be created from the fresh installation. If you do not want to keep your old data, from "my computer", "control panel",
"add/remove programs", double click on "Hotel Manager".

NETWORK installation: 
proceed as described above. The install program will create a folder called TucSoft (c:\program files\TucSoft) wich 
contains three other folders: data, control and Hotel Manager. Copy (do not cut) the folders "data" and "control" in a 
folder on a network drive (i.e f:\tucSoft\). 
Launch the program, from the menu "other" "change path" and type the new path. 
From the menu "other" select "BDE config". From the driver name 
list choose paradox, from parameters set net dir to a path accessible to all users (i.e. f:\tucSoft\control). 


BUG  2000
From the main window of Hotel Manager ("home"), click on the menu choice "other" and "BDE config" 
Select the page "date" and verify that "four digit year" and "leading zero" are set "true". If they are "false" set them "true".
